For the next times this time will halve, my fastest calibration is about 3 minutes. When the calibration starts, it takes about 10 minutes for the first time. If you have more sense, you can also set everything yourself, more explanation is provided by DataColor. The calibration is automatic, you have 'promise' settings and can simply click through. You can eat your nose during the installation, that simple! The installation is very smooth and requires little knowledge. Your device has a serial number that corresponds to the license code that comes in the box. You can download the software for both Windows and Mac via the DataColor website. That is the disadvantage, only then you know for sure that you as a photo/videographer are in the right place and your customers are not. Which means that as a photo/videographer I get feedback back. Unfortunately, it is quite common that the colors do not match with customers' devices. Ideally, you would like to calibrate all screens, including those of your customers, so that they no longer 'whine' because the colors are not right.
It's just too cool to play with the Spyder 5 in your hands. To do that 'check' every week so that I will guarantee again. I definitely take this product with me in my bag which is important. Thanks to the Spyder 5, my photos are displayed well on my laptop, which was not the case before. Tried with different light conditions, which continuously met my requirements. I took plenty of time to perform the calibration across my 3 monitors. My order was fortunately on time, thanks to the fast delivery, and I was able to test the Spyder 5 to my heart's content. This product has helped me out and works great! I myself do photo & video editing where a calibrated screen is indispensable. I bought the Spyder 5 Elite just before my trip abroad. Other people don't have a calibrated screen, so you can expect feedback.
